Dragon Gaming CIC’s new business bank account is officially up and running. This was the last piece of paperwork we needed to get sorted before we could open the doors properly and it’s a really important milestone for us.
Memberships and Dragon Guild Marks are available to purchase again, so if you’re ready to top up or renew, you’re welcome to do so as normal.
Why this matters
While we waited for our CIC application to be approved, Dragon Gaming was operating as a sole trader. Sole traders have a limit on how much they can earn before running into tax complications and so many of you had generously been buying memberships and DGMs in advance that we were approaching that limit, a lovely problem to have, but a problem all the same!
We officially became a CIC on 30 June 2026. Only then could we begin applying for a business bank account, which is a process in its own right. That account is now open, which is what allows us to resume taking payments as normal.
