We have some brilliant news to share: Dragon Gaming is welcoming three new tables into our ranks, bringing our total complement to five active groups!
To say this is a milestone for us is an understatement. What started as a simple thought experiment about a modern, low-friction tabletop club has grown into a rapidly expanding community. We are absolutely thrilled to have so many new faces (well, familiar faces, but new to DG) joining the family, and we want to say a massive thank you to all of you for putting your trust in our platform and our community.
Our newest groups will be officially launching their sessions with us on Wednesday 24th June, joining the existing Cardiff Guild at Llandaff Rowing Club.
Getting set up
To ensure the transition is as seamless as possible, we’ve already listed your upcoming games on the website. To get everything finalised, here’s what you need to do:
- Create your account. Head over to dragongaming.co.uk and register. This gets you onto the system so you can use our digital tools, like our quick QR check-ins.
- Join your game. Once registered, find your current game on the website and join it. We’ve decided it’s best for everyone to join their own games so you can get a feel for how the site works. Please only join the game you’re currently playing in, all previous sign-ups are being honoured, and we want to make sure everyone’s seat is protected.
- Early access membership and Game Tokens (DGMs). While we’re in Early Access (until the end of June), registering gets you a complimentary membership to Dragon Gaming. Please note that whilst the membership cost is covered for this month, players will still need to purchase Dragon Guild Marks on the site to play in their games (one token is redeemable per session). As a thank you to our Games Masters, GMs don’t need DGMs to run their sessions.
- Activating full membership. To continue playing or running games after 30th June, a paid annual membership will be required. You don’t need to wait for Early Access to end to buy yours though, you can purchase your full annual membership up to 30 days before renewal, and it’ll automatically extend your current term by a full 12 months from the expiry date.
You don’t have to wait until the 24th to start being part of the community, either, get in touch with your guild for details of the Cardiff Guild chat groups and come and join in the nonsense!
